We had the pleasure of hosting a brilliant Korean engineer, Keonwoo, along with his wife Hye Won and their son Minjay, for about ten nights. Their approach to the holiday was a true "style lesson" on how to enjoy Sardinia.
Unlike most tourists, Keonwoo chose not to rent a car right away. The family arrived comfortably by arranging an airport transfer, shutting out the world from the very first moment. For the first few days, they never left our property. Keonwoo, Hye Won, and young Minjay dedicated themselves to total decompression: swimming in the pool, reading in the garden, and enjoying relaxing dinners by having meals delivered from the best local restaurants. A true "detox" from work stress and the long journey.
Exploration and Traditional Flavors
Only after completely recharging their batteries did Keonwoo rent a car for four days, beginning the exploration phase. They toured the most beautiful beaches and sat at the tables of the most renowned restaurants in the area to immerse themselves in true Sardinian flavors: they tasted the freshest fish, fell in love with stringy roasted pecorino cheese, and, of course, celebrated our tradition by savoring the classic "porcetto" (the traditional roasted suckling pig).
The Grand Finale: Night Swims and Barbecue
But it was the conclusion of their holiday that made everything magical. In the last few days, they returned the car and went back to enjoying their private oasis. The family's days ended with slow walks in the surroundings, fragrant meat barbecues in our garden, and, above all, unforgettable night swims in the pool under the starry sky of Sassari, while most tourists were stuck in traffic returning from the seaside resorts.
Keonwoo, Hye Won, and Minjay left happy, deeply rested, and carrying a wealth of wonderful memories.
